Anas bin Malik narrated: That the Prophet saw a man driving his Badanah so he said to him: Ride it. He said: O Messenger of Allah! It is a Badanah. So on the third or fourth time he said to him: Ride it. And woe to you!

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ ارْكَبْهَا فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ لَهُ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ:‏‏‏‏ ارْكَبْهَا وَيْحَكَ أَوْ وَيْلَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَابِرٍ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَخَّصَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ فِي رُكُوبِ الْبَدَنَةِ إِذَا احْتَاجَ إِلَى ظَهْرِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَرْكَبُ مَا لَمْ يُضْطَرَّ إِلَيْهَا.

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو ہدی کے اونٹ ہانکتے دیکھا، تو اسے حکم دیا ”اس پر سوار ہو جاؤ“، اس نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ ہدی کا اونٹ ہے، پھر آپ نے اس سے تیسری یا چوتھی بار میں کہا: ”اس پر سوار ہو جاؤ، تمہارا برا ہو ۱؎ یا تمہاری ہلاکت ہو“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- انس رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اس باب میں علی، ابوہریرہ، اور جابر رضی الله عنہم سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں، ۳- صحابہ کرام وغیرہ میں سے اہل علم کی ایک جماعت نے ہدی کے جانور پر سوار ہونے کی اجازت دی ہے، جب کہ وہ اس کا محتاج ہو، یہی شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا قول ہے، ۴- بعض کہتے ہیں: جب تک مجبور نہ ہو ہدی کے جانور پر سوار نہ ہو۔

Anas bin Malik narrted: When the Messenger of Allah stoned the Jamrah, he slaughtered his sacrifice, then he presented the barber the right side (of his head) and he shaved it, then he gave (the hair) to Abu Talhah. Then he presented the left side to him and he shaved it. Then he said: 'Divide it (the hair) among the people.'

Ibn Umar narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: May Allah have mercy upon those who shaved saying it one or two times, then he said: And those who shortened.

Ali narrated: The Messenger of Allah prohibited that a woman should shave her head.

Abdullah bin Amr narrated: A man asked the Messenger of Allah: 'I shaved before slaughtering.' So he said: 'Slaughter, and there is no harm.' Another man asked him: 'I performed the sacrifice before stoning.' He said: 'Stone, and there is no harm.'

Aishah narrated: I put perfume with musk in it on the Messenger of Allah before he assumed Ihram, and on the Day of An-Nahr before he performed Tawaf around the House.
