Narrated Qasim: Urwa said to Aisha, Do you know so-and-so, the daughter of Al-Hakam? Her husband divorced her irrevocably and she left (her husband's house). `Aisha said, What a bad thing she has done! 'Urwa said (to `Aisha), Haven't you heard the statement of Fatima? `Aisha replied, It is not in her favor to mention. 'Urwa added, `Aisha reproached (Fatima) severely and said, Fatima was in a lonely place, and she was prone to danger, so the Prophet allowed her (to go out of her husband's house).

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ لِعَائِشَةَ : أَلَمْ تَرَيْ إِلَى فُلَانَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَكَمِ طَلَّقَهَا زَوْجُهَا الْبَتَّةَ ، فَخَرَجَتْ ، فَقَالَتْ : بِئْسَ مَا صَنَعَتْ ، قَالَ : أَلَمْ تَسْمَعِي فِي قَوْلِ فَاطِمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : أَمَا إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهَا خَيْرٌ فِي ذِكْرِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، وَزَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَابَتْ عَائِشَةُ أَشَدَّ الْعَيْبِ ، وَقَالَتْ : إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ كَانَتْ فِي مَكَانٍ وَحْشٍ فَخِيفَ عَلَى نَاحِيَتِهَا ، فَلِذَلِكَ أَرْخَصَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

ہم سے عمرو بن عباس نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابن مہدی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن بن قاسم نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے کہ عروہ بن زبیر نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے کہا کہ آپ فلانہ ( عمرہ بنت حکم ) بنت حکم کا معاملہ نہیں دیکھتیں۔ ان کے شوہر نے انہیں طلاق بائنہ دے دی اور وہ وہاں سے نکل آئیں ( عدت گزارے بغیر ) ۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ جو کچھ اس نے کیا بہت برا کیا۔ عروہ نے کہا آپ نے فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے واقعہ کے متعلق نہیں سنا۔ بتلایا کہ اس کے لیے اس حدیث کو ذکر کرنے میں کوئی خیر نہیں ہے اور ابن ابی زناد نے ہشام سے یہ اضافہ کیا ہے اور ان سے ان کے والد نے بیان کیا کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے ( عمرہ بنت حکم کے معاملہ پر ) اپنی شدید ناگواری کا اظہار فرمایا اور فرمایا کہ فاطمہ بنت قیس رضی اللہ عنہا تو ایک اجاڑ جگہ میں تھیں اور اس کے چاروں طرف خوف اور وحشت برستی تھی، اس لیے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( وہاں سے منتقل ہونے کی ) انہیں اجازت دے دی تھی۔

Narrated `Aisha: When Allah's Apostle decided to leave Mecca after the Hajj, he saw Safiyya, sad and standing at the entrance of her tent. He said to her, Aqr (or) Halq! You will detain us. Did you perform Tawaf-al- Ifada on the day of Nahr? She said, Yes. He said, Then you can depart.

Narrated Al-Hasan: Ma'qil gave his sister in marriage and later her husband divorced her once.

Narrated Al-Hasan: The sister of Ma'qil bin Yasar was married to a man and then that man divorced her and remained away from her till her period of the 'Iddah expired. Then he demanded for her hand in marriage, but Ma'qil got angry out of pride and haughtiness and said, He kept away from her when he could still retain her, and now he demands her hand again? So Ma'qil disagreed to remarry her to him. Then Allah revealed: 'When you have divorced women and they have fulfilled the term of their prescribed period, do not prevent them from marrying their (former) husbands.' (2.232) So the Prophet sent for Ma'qil and recited to him (Allah's order) and consequently Ma'qil gave up his pride and haughtiness and yielded to Allah's order.
