Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messengar ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: The Last Hour would not come before a person of Qahtan comes forth driving people with his stick.

و حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قَحْطَانَ يَسُوقُ النَّاسَ بِعَصَاهُ

قتیبہ بن سعید نے اسی سند سے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " قیامت قائم نہیں ہو گی یہاں تک کہ قحطان کا ایک شخص لوگوں کو اپنی لاٹھی سے ہانکے گا ۔

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: The day and the night would not come to an end before a man called al-Jahjah would occupy the throne.
