Abu al-Zahiriyyah said: We were in the company of Abdullah bin Busr, the Companion of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, on a Friday. A man came and stepped over the people. Abdullah bin Busr said: A man came and stepped over the people while the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was giving the sermon on Friday. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Sit down, you have annoyed (the people).

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ صَاحِبِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُسْرٍ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اجْلِسْ فَقَدْ آذَيْتَ .

ابوزاہریہ کہتے ہیں ہم نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صحابی عبداللہ بن بسر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ جمعہ کے دن ( مسجد میں ) تھے، اتنے میں ایک شخص لوگوں کی گردنیں پھاندتا ہوا آیا تو عبداللہ بن بسر نے کہا: ایک شخص ( اسی طرح ) جمعہ کے دن لوگوں کی گردنیں پھاندتا ہوا آیا اور نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ دے رہے تھے تو آپ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا: بیٹھ جاؤ، تم نے لوگوں کو تکلیف پہنچائی ہے ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When any of you dozes in the mosque (on Friday), he should change his place.

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: I saw the Messenger صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم would descend from the pulpit and a man stop him for his need. He would remain standing with him until his need was fulfilled. Then he would stand and pray. Abu Dawud said: This tradition is not well known from the narrator Thabit. Jarir bin Hazim is the only narrator of this tradition.

Al-Numan bin Bashir said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to recite at the twoEidds (festivals) and on Friday, Glorify the name of your most high Lord. (87) and Has the story of the overwhelming reached you? (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers).

Al-Dahhak bin Qais asked al-Numan bin Bashir: What did the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم recited on Friday after reciting the Surah al-Jumu'ah (62). He replied: He used to recite, Had the story of overwhelming event reached you ? (88).

Ibn Abi Rafi said: Abu Hurairah led us in the Friday prayer and recited Surah al-Jumu'ah and When the hypocrites come to you (63) in the last rak'ah. He said: I met Abu Hurairah when he finished the prayer and said to him: You recited the two surah that Ali used to recite at Kufah. Abu Hurairah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم reciting them on Friday.
