Narrated Attab ibn Usayd: The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم commanded to estimate vines (for collecting zakat) as palm-trees are estimated. The zakat is to be paid in raisins as the zakat on palm trees is paid in dried dates.
