Narrated Ali ibn Umar ibn Husayn ibn Ali: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Do not go out much when there are few people about, for Allah the Exalted scatters abroad of His beasts in that hour (according to Ibn Marwan's version). Ibn Marwan's version has: For Allah has creatures. He then mentioned the barking of dogs and braying of asses in a similar manner. He added in his version: Ibn al-Had said: Shurahbil ibn al-Hajib told me on the authority of Jabir ibn Abdullah from the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم similar to it.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْهَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَغَيْرِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ قال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ بَعْدَ هَدْأَةِ الرِّجْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى دَوَابَّ يَبُثُّهُنَّ فِي الْأَرْضِ ،‏‏‏‏ قال ابْنُ مَرْوَانَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ لِلَّهِ خَلْقًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نُبَاحَ الْكَلْبِ وَالْحَمِيرَ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ ابْنُ الْهَادِ:‏‏‏‏ وَحَدَّثَنِي شُرَحْبِيلُ الْحَاجِبُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِثْلَهُ.
علی بن عمر بن حسین بن علی اور ان کے علاوہ ایک اور شخص سے روایت ہے، وہ دونوں (مرسلاً) کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ( رات میں ) آمدورفت بند ہو جانے ( اور سناٹا چھا جانے ) کے بعد گھر سے کم نکلا کرو، کیونکہ اللہ کے کچھ چوپائے ہیں جنہیں اللہ چھوڑ دیتا ہے، ( وہ رات میں آزاد پھرتے ہیں اور نقصان پہنچا سکتے ہیں ) ( ابن مروان کی روایت میں «في تلك الساعة» کے الفاظ ہیں اور اس میں «فإن لله تعالى دواب» کے بجائے «فإن لله خلقا» ہے ) ، پھر راوی نے کتے کے بھونکنے اور گدھے کے رینکنے کا اسی طرح ذکر کیا ہے، اور اپنی روایت میں اتنا اضافہ ہے کہ ابن الہاد کہتے ہیں: مجھ سے شرحبیل بن حاجب نے بیان کیا ہے انہوں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے اور جابر نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی کے مثل روایت کیا ہے۔

Sahl and Sulaiman said: if anyone calls you, respond to him. The Agreed version goes; if you do not afford to compensate him, pray Allah for him until you know that you have compensated him.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: Abu Zumayl said: I asked Ibn Abbas, saying: What is that I find in my breast? He asked: What is it? I replied: I swear by Allah, I cannot speak about it. He asked me: Is it something doubtful? and he laughed. He then said: No one could escape that, until Allah, the exalted, revealed: If thou went in doubt as to what we have revealed unto thee, and ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee. He said: If you find something in your heart, say: He is the first and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent, and He has full knowledge of all things.
