Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; Does he who raises his head while the Imam is prostrating not fear that Allah may change his head into a donkey’s or his face into a donkey’s face.

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَا يَخْشَى أَوْ أَلَا يَخْشَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَالْإِمَامُ سَاجِدٌ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللَّهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ أَوْ صُورَتَهُ صُورَةَ حِمَارٍ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے وہ شخص جو اپنا سر اٹھاتا ہے جب کہ امام سجدے میں ہو، کیا اس بات سے نہیں ڈرتا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا سر یا اس کی صورت گدھے کی بنا دے ۔ راوی کو شک ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے «أما يخشى» فرمایا، یا «ألا يخشى» ۔

Anas said: The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم persuaded them to say prayer in congregation and prohibited them to leave before he goes away from the prayer.

Umar bin Abu Salamah said: I saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم praying girded with a single (piece of) cloth, place its two ends over his shoulders.

Narrated Talq ibn Ali al-Hanafi: We came to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, and a man came and said: Prophet of Allah, what do you say if one prays in a single garment? The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then took off his wrapper and combined it with his sheet, and put it on them. He got up and the Prophet of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم led us in prayer. When he finished the prayer, he said: Does every one of you have two garments?
