It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: Some food was brought to the Messenger of Allah at Marr Az-Zahran, and he said to Abu Bakr and 'Umar: 'Come and eat.' They said: 'We are fasting.' He said: 'Saddle the camels for your companions, and help your companions. '(Daif)

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِطَعَامٍ بِمَرِّ الظَّهْرَانِ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ:‏‏‏‏ أَدْنِيَا فَكُلَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَا:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّا صَائِمَانِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ارْحَلُوا لِصَاحِبَيْكُمُ اعْمَلُوا لِصَاحِبَيْكُمْ .

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس مرالظہران ( مکہ و مدینہ کے درمیان ایک مقام کا نام ہے ) میں کھانا لایا گیا، تو آپ نے ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے فرمایا: ”تم دونوں قریب آ جاؤ اور کھاؤ“، انہوں نے عرض کیا: ہم روزہ سے ہیں، تو آپ نے لوگوں سے کہا: ”اپنے دونوں ساتھیوں کے کجاوے کس دو، اور اپنے دونوں ساتھیوں کے کام کر دو“ ۱؎۔
