It was narrated from Yazid bin Abu ‘Ubaid that Salamah bin Al-Akwa’ used to offer the Duha prayer, and he would come to the pillar that was near the Mushaf. I said to him: “Why do you not pray over there?” And I pointed to some corner of the mosque. He said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) seeking out this place.”
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْتِي إِلَى سُبْحَةِ الضُّحَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَعْمِدُ إِلَى الْأُسْطُوَانَةِ دُونَ الْمُصْحَفِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيُصَلِّ قَرِيبًا مِنْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَقُولُ لَهُ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا تُصَلِّي هَا هُنَا وَأُشِيرُ إِلَى بَعْضِ نَوَاحِي الْمَسْجِدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَحَرَّى هَذَا الْمُقَامَ .
سلمہ بن الاکوع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   وہ نماز الضحیٰ ( چاشت کی نفل نماز ) کے لیے آتے اور صف سے پہلے ستون کے پاس جاتے اور اس کے نزدیک نماز پڑھتے، میں مسجد کے ایک گوشے کی جانب اشارہ کرتے ہوئے ان سے کہتا: آپ اس جگہ نماز کیوں نہیں پڑھتے؟ تو وہ کہتے: میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ اسی جگہ کا قصد کرتے تھے ۱؎۔

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Sa’ib said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) praying on the Day of the Conquest, and he put his shoes on his left.”

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Keep your shoes on your feet. If you take them off then place them between your two feet; do not place them to your right, or to the right of your companions, or behind you, for they may annoy whoever is behind you.’”

It was narrated that ‘Ali said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Muslim has six courtesies due from the Muslim: He should greet him with Salam when he meets him; he should accept his invitation if he invites him; he should answer [by Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)] to him if he sneezes (and says Al- Hamdulillah); he should visit him if he falls sick; he should follow his funeral if he dies; and he should love for him what he loves for himself.”

It was narrated from Abu Mas’ud that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “The Muslim has four things due from the Muslim: He should answer [by saying Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)] to him if he sneezes (and says Al-Hamdulillah); he should accept his invitation if he invites him; he should attend his funeral if he dies; and he should visit him if he falls sick.”

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Five are the rights of the Muslim: Returning his greeting, accepting his invitation; attending his funeral; visiting the sich; and answering (saying Yarhamuk-Allah) to the one who sneezes, if he praises Allah (says Al-Hamdu Lillah).”
