It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: that the Prophet said: “When anyone of you gets a new wife, a servant, or an animal, let him take hold of the forelock and say: Allahumma inni as`aluka min khayriha wa khayri ma jubilat 'alaihi, wa 'audhu bika min sharriha wa sharri ma jubilat `alaih (O Allah, I ask You for the goodness within her and the goodness that she is inclined towards, and I seek refuge with you from the evil to which she is inclined).' ”
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَصَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا أَفَادَ أَحَدُكْمُ امْرَأَةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ خَادِمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ دَابَّةً فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلْيَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَخَيْرِ مَا جُبِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا جُبِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ .
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کوئی بیوی، خادم یا جانور حاصل کرے، تو اس کی پیشانی پکڑ کر یہ دعا پڑھے «اللهم إني أسألك من خيرها وخير ما جبلت عليه وأعوذ بك من شرها وشر ما جبلت عليه» اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے اس کی بھلائی اور اس کی خلقت اور طبیعت کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں، اور اس کے شر اور اس کی خلقت اور طبیعت کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں ۔

It was narrated from Ibn `Abbas: that the Prophet said: “When anyone of you has intercourse with his wife, let him say: Allahumma jannibnish-Shaitana wa jannibish-Shaitana ma razaqtani (O Allah, keep Satan away from me and keep Satan away from that with which You bless me).' Then if they have a child, Allah will never allow Satan to gain control over him or he will never harm him.”

Bahz bin Hakim narrated from his father that his grandfather said: “I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, with regard to our 'Awrah, what may we uncover of it and what must we conceal?' He said: 'Cover your 'Awrah, except from your wife and those whom your right hand possesses.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what if the people live close together?' He said: 'If you can make sure that no one sees it, then do not let anyone see it.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what if one of us is alone?' He said: 'Allah is more deserving that you should feel shy before Him than People.' ”
