It was narrated that Jabir said: 'We used to practice coitus interruptus during the time of the Messenger of Allah when the Qur'an was being revealed.”
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْقُرْآنُ يَنْزِلُ .
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانہ میں عزل کیا کرتے تھے، اور قرآن اترا کرتا تھا ۱؎۔

Then I married ' Abdur-Rahman bin Zubair, and what he has is like the fringe of a garment.” The Prophet smiled and said: “Do you want to go back to Rifa'ah? No, not until you taste his ('Abdur-Rahman's) sweetness and he tastes your sweetness.”
