Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated from Khallad bin Sa’ib, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Jibra’il came to me and told me to command my Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَرَنِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ .

سائب انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میرے پاس جبرائیل ( علیہ السلام ) آئے اور مجھے حکم دیا کہ میں اپنے صحابہ سے کہوں کہ تلبیہ بلند آواز سے پکاریں ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Jibril came to me and said: ‘O Muhammad! Tell your Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah, for it is one of the symbols of Hajj.’”

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no Muhrim (pilgrim in Ihram) who exposes himself to the sun all day for the sake of Allah, reciting the Talbiyah until the sun goes down, but his sins will disappear and he will go back like on the day his mother bore him.”

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “I put perfume on the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for his Ihram before he entered into it, and when he exited Ihram before he returned.”*

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “It is as if I can see the races of perfume in the parting (of hair) of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), while he is reciting the Talbiyah.”
