It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “We were with the Prophet (ﷺ), and we were in Ihram. When a rider met us we would lower our garments from the top of our heads, and when he has gone, we would lift them up again.”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ مُحْرِمُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا لَقِيَنَا الرَّاكِبُ أَسْدَلْنَا ثِيَابَنَا مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوسِنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا جَاوَزَنَا رَفَعْنَاهَا .
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   ہم لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ احرام کی حالت میں تھے، جب ہمیں کوئی سوار ملتا تو ہم اپنا کپڑا اپنے سروں کے اوپر سے لٹکا لیتے، اور جب سوار آگے بڑھ جاتا تو ہم اسے اٹھا لیتے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from Abu Bakr bin ‘Abdullah bin Zubair from his grandmother – he (the narrator) said: “I do not know if it was Asma’ bint Abu Bakr or Su’da bint ‘Awf’ – that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon Duba’ah bint ‘Abdul-Muttalib and said: “What is keeping you, O my aunt, from performing Hajj?” She said: “I am a sick woman, and I am afraid of being prevented (from completing Hajj).” He said: ‘Enter Ihram and stipulate the condition that you will exit Ihram from the point where you are prevented.’”

It was narrated that Duba’ah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me when I was unwell. He said: ‘Do you intend to perform Hajj this year?’ I said: ‘I am sick, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Go for Hajj and say: “I will exit Ihram from the point where I am prevented.’”

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: Duba’ah bint Zubair bin ‘Abdul- Muttalib came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: “I am a heavy woman and I want to go for Hajj. How should I enter Ihram?” He said: “Enter Ihram and stipulate the condition that you will exit Ihram from the point where you are prevented.”
