Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

‘Amr bin Shu’aib narrated from his father that his grandfather said: “I performed Tawaf with ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr, and when we had finished seven (circuits), we prayed two Rak’ah at the back of the Ka’bah. I said: ‘Why do you not seek refuge with Allah from the Fire?’ He said: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from the fire.’ Then he went and touched the Corner, then he stood between the (Black) Stone and the door (of the Ka’bah) and clung with his chest, hands and cheek against it. Then he said: ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) do this.’”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ الْمُثَنَّى بْنَ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ طُفْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا فَرَغْنَا مِنَ السَّبْعِ رَكَعْنَا فِي دُبُرِ الْكَعْبَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ أَلَا نَتَعَوَّذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ النَّارِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ مَضَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاسْتَلَمَ الرُّكْنَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَامَ بَيْنَ الْحَجَرِ وَالْبَاب:‏‏‏‏ فَأَلْصَقَ صَدْرَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَخَدَّهُ إِلَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْعَلُ .

شعیب کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ( اپنے دادا ) عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ طواف کیا، جب ہم سات پھیروں سے فارغ ہوئے، تو ہم نے کعبہ کے پیچھے طواف کی دو رکعتیں ادا کیں، میں نے کہا: کیا ہم جہنم سے اللہ تعالیٰ کی پناہ نہ چاہیں؟ انہوں نے کہا: میں جہنم سے اللہ کی پناہ چاہتا ہوں، شعیب کہتے ہیں: پھر عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما نے چل کر حجر اسود کا استلام کیا، پھر حجر اسود اور باب کعبہ کے درمیان کھڑے ہوئے، اور اپنا سینہ، دونوں ہاتھ اور چہرے کو اس سے چمٹا دیا، پھر کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایسے ہی کرتے دیکھا ہے۔

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), intending only to perform Hajj. When we were in Sarif or close to Sarif, my menses came. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me when I was weeping. He said: ‘What is the matter with you? Have your menses come?’ I said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘This is something that Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam. Do all the rites, but do not circumambulate the House.’” She said: “And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sacrificed a cow on behalf of his wives.”
