It was narrated from Wahb bin Khanbash that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“ ‘Umrah during Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj (i.e. in reward).”
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، وَجَابِرٌ، عَنْالشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُول اللَّه صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ، تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً .
وہب بن خنبش رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: رمضان میں عمرہ، ( ثواب میں ) حج کے برابر ہے ۔
