Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) did not allow anyone to stay overnight in Makkah apart from ‘Abbas, for the purpose of supplying water to the pilgrims.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يُرَخِّصْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَحَدٍ يَبِيتُ بِمَكَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِلَّا لِلْعَبَّاسِ مِنْ أَجْلِ السِّقَايَةِ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( منیٰ کے دنوں میں ) کسی کو مکہ میں رات گزارنے کی اجازت نہیں دی سوائے عباس کے، کیونکہ حاجیوں کو پانی پلانے کا کام ان کے سپرد تھا۔

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “Staying in Abtah is not Sunnah; the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) only stayed there because it was more convenient for his departure.”

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade a man to depart until the last thing he did was (Tawaf around) the House.”

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “Safiyyah bint Huyai got her menses after she had done Tawaful-Ifadah.” ‘Aishah said: “I mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he said: ‘Has she detained us?’ I said: ‘She performed Tawaful-Ifadah then she got her menses after that.’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Then let her depart.’”
