It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every intoxicant is Khamr (wine) and every Khamr is unlawful.”
حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَكُلُّ خَمْرٍ حَرَامٌ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہر نشہ لانے والی چیز شراب ہے اور ہر شراب حرام ہے ۔
