It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was more modest than a virgin in her chamber. If he disliked something, that could be seen in his face.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ مَوْلًى لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنْ عَذْرَاءَ فِي خِدْرِهَا،‏‏‏‏ وَكَانَ إِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا رُئِيَ ذَلِكَ فِي وَجْهِهِ .

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باپردہ کنواری لڑکی سے بھی زیادہ شرمیلے تھے، اور جب آپ کو کوئی چیز ناگوار لگتی تو آپ کے چہرے پر اس کا اثر ظاہر ہو جاتا تھا۔
