Abbad bin Tamim narrated that his paternal uncle said: A complaint was made to the Prophet about a man who sensed something (some doubt about his ablution) during prayer. He said: 'No (he does not have to perform ablution) unless he notices a smell or hears a sound.'

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَعَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ شُكِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الرَّجُلُ يَجِدُ الشَّيْءَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا حَتَّى يَجِدَ رِيحًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا .

عباد بن تمیم کے چچا عبداللہ بن زید بن عاصم انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس اس شخص کا معاملہ لے جایا گیا جس نے نماز میں ( حدث کا ) شبہ محسوس کیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: نہیں، شک و شبہ سے وضو نہیں ٹوٹتا جب تک کہ وہ گوز کی آواز نہ سن لے، یا بو نہ محسوس کرے ۱؎۔

It was narrated from 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that his father said: I heard the Messenger of Allah being asked about water in the wilderness that is frequented by beasts and predators. The Messenger of Allah said: If the water reaches the amount of two Qullah, nothing can make it impure (Najis).' (Sahih) Another chain with similar wording.

He said: Whatever they (the animals) have carried in their bellies is for them, and whatever is left over is for us, and is pure.
