It was narrated from Abu Rafi' that : Abu Hurairah was met by the Prophet in one of the streets of Al-Madinah when he was in a state of sexual impurity, so he slipped away. The Prophet missed him, so when he came (later on), he said: 'Where were you O Abu Hurairah?' He said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you met me when I was in a state of sexual impurity, and I did not want to sit with you until I had a bath. The Messenger of Allah said: 'The believer does not become impure.'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ لَقِيَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَرِيقٍ مِنْ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ فَانْسَلَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَفَقَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا جَاءَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَيْنَ كُنْتَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقِيتَنِي وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُجَالِسَكَ حَتَّى أَغْتَسِلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمُؤْمِنُ لَا يَنْجُسُ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ جنبی تھے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینے کے کسی راستے میں انہیں ملے، تو وہ چپکے سے نکل لیے، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو غائب پایا، جب وہ آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: ابوہریرہ! تم کہاں تھے؟ ، کہا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ سے ملاقات کے وقت میں جنبی تھا، اور بغیر غسل کئے آپ کی محفل میں بیٹھنا مجھے اچھا نہیں لگا، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مومن ناپاک نہیں ہوتا ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said: The Prophet came out and met me when I was sexually impure, so I kept away from him. Then I had a bath and came to him. He said: 'What is the matter with you?' I said: 'I was sexually impure.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'The Muslim does not become impure.'

It was narrated that 'Amr bin Maimun said: I asked Sulaiman bin Yasar about a garment which gets semen on it. 'Should I wash it off or wash the entire garment?' Sulaiman said: 'Aishah said: Semen used to get on the garment of the Messenger of Allah and he would wash it off his garment, then he would go out to pray wearing that garment, and I could see the marks left on it by washing.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I often scraped it (semen) from the garment of the Messenger of Allah with my hand.

Hammam bin Harith narrated: A guest came and stayed with 'Aishah, and she ordered that he be given a yellow blanket of hers. He had a nocturnal emission on it, and he felt too shy to send it back to send it back to her when it had the traces of that emission on it, so he dipped it in water and then sent it to her. 'Aishah said: 'Why did he spoil our garment? It would have been sufficient for him to scrape it off with his finger. I often scraped it (semen) from the garment of the Messenger of Allah with my finger.'

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I remember when I found it (semen) on the garment of the Messenger of Allah and I scratched it off.

It was narrated from Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyan that: He asked his sister Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet: Did the Messenger of Allah ever offered prayer in a garment in which he had sexual intercourse? She said: Yes, if there was nothing noxious on it.
