Umar bin al-khattab reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; When the MuadhDHIN says: “Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and one of you says in response: “Allah is most great”, Allah is most great; then says: “ I testify tht there is no god but Allah”, and he says in response: “I testify that there is no god but Allah”, then say: ” I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, and he makes the response: “ I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, then says: “Come to prayer”, and he makes the response: “There is no might and no power except in Allah”: then says: “ Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and he makes the response: “Allah is most great”, then says: “There is no god but Allah”, if he says this from his heart, he enter Paradise.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَهْضَمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ خُبِيبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسَافٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَدِّهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِذَا قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مِنْ قَلْبِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ .

عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب مؤذن: «الله أكبر الله أكبر» کہے تو تم میں سے جو ( اخلاص کے ساتھ ) «الله أكبر الله أكبر» کہے، پھر جب وہ «أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله» کہے تو یہ بھی «أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله»کہے، اور جب وہ «أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله» کہے تو یہ بھی «أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله» کہے، جب وہ «حى على الصلاة» کہے تو یہ «لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله» کہے، جب وہ «حى على الفلاح» کہے تو یہ «لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله» کہے، پھر جب وہ «الله أكبر الله أكبر» کہے تو یہ بھی «الله أكبر الله أكبر» کہے، اور جب وہ «لا إله إلا الله» کہے تو یہ بھی «لا إله إلا الله» کہے تو وہ جنت میں جائے گا ۔

Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Muminin: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم taught me to say when the adhan for the sunset prayer was called; O Allah, this is the time when Thy night comes on, Thy day retires, and the voices of Thy summoners are heard, so forgive me.

Narrated Uthman ibn Abul As: Messenger of Allah, appoint me the leader of the tribe in prayer. He said: You are their leader, but you should follow on who is the weakest of them: and appoint a muadhdhin who does not charge for the calling of adhan.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Bilal made a call to prayer before the break of dawn; the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, therefore, commanded him to return and make a call: Lo! the servant of Allah (i. e. I) had slept (hence this mistake). The version of Musa has the addition: He returned and made a call: Lo! the servant of Allah had slept. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated by al-Darawardi from Ubaid Allah on the authority of Ibn Umar saying: There was a muadhdhin of Umar, named Masud. He then narrated the rest of the tradition. This version is more correct than that one

Nafi reported: A muadhdhin of Umar, named Masruh, called the Adhan for the morning prayer before the break of dawn; Umar commanded him (to repeat). The narrator reported the tradition in a similar way. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been transmitted by al-Darawardi from Ubaid Allah on the authority of Ibn Umar, saying: there was a muadhdhin of Umar, named Masud. He then narrated the rest of the tradition. This version is more correct than one.
