It was narrated that Musa bin Talhah said: We were with Mu'awiyah and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Talhah is one of those who fulfilled their covenant.'

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا عِنْدَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ طَلْحَةُ مِمَّنْ قَضَى نَحْبَهُ .

موسیٰ بن طلحہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس تھے تو انہوں نے کہا: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: طلحہ ان لوگوں میں سے ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے کئے ہوئے عہد کو سچ کر دکھایا ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Qais said: I saw the paralyzed hand of Talhah, with which he had defended the Messenger of Allah on the Day of Uhud.

It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Zaid bin 'Amr bin Nufail said: The Messenger of Allah was one of the Ten (given glad tidings of Paradise). He said: 'Abu Bakr will be in Paradise; 'Umar will be in Paradise; 'Uthman will be in Paradise; 'Ali will be in Paradise; Talhah will be in Paradise; Zubair will be in Paradise; Sa'd will be in Paradise; 'Abdur-Rahman will be in Paradise. He was asked: 'Who will be the ninth?' He said: 'I will.'
