It was narrated that Jabir said: The Messenger of Allah said on the Day of Quraizah: 'Who will bring us news of the people?' Zubair said: 'I will.' The Prophet said: 'Who will bring us news of the people?' Zubair said: 'I will,' three times. Every Prophet has a Hawari (sincere supporter or disciple) and my Hawari is Zubair.'

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ قُرَيْظَةَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ يَأْتِينَا بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا ثَلَاثًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ .

جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے قبیلہ قریظہ پر حملے کے دن فرمایا: کون ہے جو میرے پاس قوم ( یعنی یہود بنی قریظہ ) کی خبر لائے؟، زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں ہوں، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کون ہے جو میرے پاس قوم کی خبر لائے؟ ، زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں، یہ سوال و جواب تین بار ہوا، پھر نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہر نبی کے حواری ( خاص مددگار ) ہوتے ہیں، اور میرے حواری ( خاص مددگار ) زبیر ہیں ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Zubair said: The Messenger of Allah named his parents together for me on the Day of Uhud.

It was narrated from Hisham bin 'Urwah that his father said: ''Aishah said to me: 'O 'Urwah, your two fathers were of those who answered (the Call of) Allah and the Messenger (Muhammed) after being wounded, (they were) Abu Bakr and Zubair.''
