Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever sends fourth three of his children who had not reached the age of puberty, they will be a strong fortification for him against the Fire.” Abu Dharr said: “I sent forth two.” He said: “And two” Ubayy bin Ka’b, the chief of the reciters, said: “I sent forth one.” He said: “Even one.”

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَدَّمَ ثَلَاثَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحِنْثَ كَانُوا لَهُ حِصْنًا حَصِينًا مِنَ النَّارِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ:‏‏‏‏ قَدَّمْتُ اثْنَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَاثْنَيْنِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ أَبُو المُنْذرِ كَعْبٍ سَيِّدُ الْقُرَّاءِ قَدَّمْتُ وَاحِدًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَوَاحِدًا .

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس شخص نے تین نابالغ بچے آگے بھیجے، تو وہ اس کے لیے جہنم سے بچاؤ کا مضبوط قلعہ ہوں گے ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے دو بچے آگے بھیجے ہیں، آپ نے فرمایا: اور دو بھی ، پھر قاریوں کے سردار ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے تو ایک ہی آگے بھیجا ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اور ایک بھی ۔

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘A miscarried fetus sent before me is dearer to me than a horseman whom I leave behind.”

It was narrated that ‘Ali said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The miscarried fetus will plead with his Lord if his parents are admitted to Hell. It will be said: “O fetus who pleads with your Lord! Admit your parents to Paradise.” So he will drag them out with his umbilical cord until he admits them to Paradise.’”

It was narrated from Mu’adh bin Jabal that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The miscarried fetus will drag his mother by his umbilical cord to Paradise, if she (was patient and) sought reward (for her loss).”

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Ja’far said: “When news of the death of Ja’far was brought, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Prepare food for the family of Ja’far, for there has come to them that which is keeping them busy or something which is keeping them busy.”

Asma’ bint ‘Umais said: “When Ja’far was killed, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went to his family and said: ‘The family of Ja’far are busy with the matter of their deceased, so prepare food for them.’”

It was narrated that Jarir bin ‘Abdullah Al-Bajali said: “We used to think that gathering with the family of the deceased and preparing food was a form of wailing.”
